At 5.00 pm on Thursday 11 March 2010, a 73 year old female Maori, Charlotte DINSDALE-RUKA, was reported missing to the Police.
This lady suffers from Alzheimer's.
She was last seen in the car park of the Glen Mall Library in Glen Eden at 1.00 pm yesterday. It is unknown where she has gone from there.
It is possible that she may have tried to return to her family but has become lost in the process. Family members reside in Kelston and Glen Eden.
She has previously wandered off from various locations in the past and been found in the rear of addresses or sought help by knocking on strangers' doors.
Police carried out an extensive search last night with the use of Eagle to try and find Mrs RUKA. To date she has not been located. Enquiries are continuing.
Mrs RUKA is a female Maori, aged 73 years and of slim build. She is about 165 cm in height.
She was last seen wearing black track pants with white stripes, a cream coloured long sleeved jumper and black sandals. She has grey hair that she often wears styled in a bun.
