Lotto, Powerball and Strike have all jackpotted for the first time in 2012, meaning a huge prize pool of $12 million is up for grabs next week, says NZ Lotteries' Acting Chief Executive, Warren Salisbury.
"These triple jackpots don't happen very often but when they do it's always exciting for the next week's draw," says Mr Salisbury.
Next week, Powerball First Division will be an estimated $9 million, Lotto will be worth $2 million and Strike will be worth a huge $1 million.
John from Timaru was the big winner on the night, as he spun and won $100,000 of round the world travel, on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington.
Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was purchased through NZ Lotteries online sales channel, MyLotto, by a player in Auckland. The serial number is 329-32234287-20XX.
Anyone who bought their ticket from the above winning store should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
