Four persons have been transported to hospital with serious injuries after a vehicle crashed into a tree in Shifnal Dr, Randwick Park, Manukau at about 1.45am today.

Emergency services are at the scene with traffic diversions in place at Secretatriat Place and Riverton Drive, untill further notice.

The incident is being investigated by the Police Serious Crash Unit.
