Oil Exploration in Hawke's Bay will be up for discussion at Wednesday's (25 January 2012) Hawke's Bay Regional Council Corporate and Strategic Committee meeting.

Apache Corporation and TAG Oil are undertaking oil exploration work in three sites along the East Coast; one falls in the HBRC boundaries while the other two border them.

Apache Senior Advisor Regulatory Affairs - New Ventures, Alex Ferguson will be at the meeting to explain the process proposed for petrochemical exploration activity in the region.

Alexandra Johansen from TAG Oil will also be at the meeting.

The public and media are welcome to attend.
