Over 350,000 hits from all over the world have been recorded for unique charity auction items on Trademe - which include advice and studio time with Crowded House's Neil Finn, on set with The Hobbit and Peter Jackson, immortalizing your face at Richard Taylor's Weta Workshop and Sonny Bill Williams and his shorts plus a number of other brilliant personal experiences.

The hits on the Neil Finn auction item alone are 200,000.

The Stars Come Out For Christmas charity auction is to raise money for Sir Ray Avery's charity Medicine Mondiale Neil Finn is an Ambassador for the charity Medicine Mondiale.

Residents of New Zealand and Australia can freely bid on New Zealand's Trademe and bids can be taken from all over the world if interested parties have people to nominate and bid on their behalf.

Auction closes Monday January 9 2012.

"The interest that has been shown in the auction is very humbling and a total knockout," said Sir Ray Avery, " and we are looking to it being a huge success through the generosity of all this amazing talent, again showing none of us are as clever and talented as all of us!"

Medicine Mondiale and Sir Ray Avery create innovative and low cost solutions to health problems in the developing world.

Recently they have developed a new product for infant nutrition called Proteinforte, which is a global breakthrough in dealing with malnutrition, and the auction continues the fund raising to build a factory in Nepal to produce the product.

It is always been Sir Ray's and Medicine Mondiale's way to put the technology and spin off commercial benefits straight in the hands of people in areas that are in need. This product could potentially help millions with malnutrition as it is made from byproducts and more easily absorbed than any current formula.
