Lotto First Division Luck Hits Quartet of Winners

Four lucky Lotto players will be singing in the rain after winning $250,000 each with Lotto's First Division, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive Todd McLeay.

The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Orakei Postcentre Superette in Auckland, Paper Plus & Lotto in Mt Maunganui, Woolworths Supermarket in Palmerston North, and 3 Arrows Prebbleton in Christchurch.

Lotto Powerball has jackpotted this week, and will be worth an estimated $5 million in next Saturday's draw. Strike Four has also jackpotted to $400,000 next week.

Tonight's other big winner was Auckland man Michael Fann, who spun and won $125,000 on Lotto's Winning Wheel live draw tonight.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.

Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was sold at East Taieri Dairy in Mosgiel. The serial number is 510-47638023-20XX.

"Anyone who bought a ticket at any of our winning retailers should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it as soon as possible," Mr McLeay says.
