Wellington, March 21 NZPA - The woman reported missing overnight near Wellington Zoo, in suburban Newtown, has been found.

A search and rescue team found the 45-year-old under bushes not far from the zoo shortly after 7am.

Police said she did not appear to have any physical injuries but had been taken to Wellington Hospital to be checked by medical staff.
