Wellington, Dec 27 NZPA - Air New Zealand's controversial uniforms are tipped to be on their way out.
Zambesi designed the uniforms four years ago but the colours -- teal, greenstone and schist -- and designs did not win favour with staff or customers.
The Sunday Star Times today reported Taylor Boutique and Trelise Cooper were understood to be on the shortlist to provide new uniforms.
Fashion blogger Isaac Hindin-Miller, of isaaclikes.com, said both had been asked to present their designs to a committee twice.
An airline spokesman told the newspaper a new uniform was possible to coincide with its new 777-300 fleet.
