In a New Zealand first, NZ Lotteries today announced that it has secured top international businessman Mr Donald J Trump to participate in Big Wednesday's first-ever sales promotion which will launch on 4 March.

"Big Wednesday stands for the ultimate lifestyle, so we searched the world to find a suitable personality to help make the luxury life real for four lucky kiwis," says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive Todd McLeay.

Mr Donald Trump, famous world-wide for his starring role in the popular TV show The Apprentice, is also well known for his super luxury New York lifestyle and high end real estate developments.

Therefore Big Wednesday is teaming up with Donald Trump for a once-in-a-lifetime 'Trump Up Your Life' promotion, where a lucky winner and three friends will experience a sublime all-expenses paid trip to New York for a week - plus $100,000 cash for the winner, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive Todd McLeay.

"My home city of New York is a great place and Big Wednesday have put together a fantastic prize for a lucky few from New Zealand to come and live like me for a week. I am sure the winners will enjoy staying at the world famous Trump Soho NYC, eating at my favourite restaurant the Trump Grill NYC, playing golf at my exclusive course Trump National Golf Club/Westchester, New York and I look forward to the possibility of meeting the winner right here in New York City," said Mr Donald Trump.

The 'Trump Up Your Life' promotion winner will win luxury travel to New York for them and three guests for a six night, seven day trip. The winners will stay at the newly opened super luxury Trump Soho Hotel and will also receive $10,000 US spending money each.

No detail has been overlooked, with the winner also receiving a new set of high end luggage and having a chauffeur driven limo on call during their time in New York.

The winner and their entourage will lunch at Trump Grill, receive private passes to the exclusive Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, and take in a Broadway show VIP style. The winners will shop with a personal shopper for a day and also have an opportunity for a photographer to document their special New York moments.

In addition, our winner will also have the opportunity to meet Mr Donald Trump himself (subject to his scheduled availability).
