The popular junior playground at Hamilton’s Lake Domain has re-opened, after installation of new equipment and a fresh coat of paint.
The junior play area is one of the most visited destination playgrounds in Hamilton, and over the last month Hamilton City Council has installed new Nagor units as part of the playground renewals programme.
Parks and Open Spaces Manager Sally Sheedy says the contractors who installed the new equipment have delivered the project on-time and on-budget, meaning it has re-opened in time for school holidays.
"When we announced this refurbishment, we received some very positive feedback from the community. Hamilton families and children really love this playground, at one of the city’s iconic locations, so we are very pleased to be able to re-open it," Miss Sheedy says.
