Saturday the 13th has proved to be lucky for some around the country, each winning a $250,000 share of Lotto's First Division prize this evening, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

The winning tickets were sold at Countdown Northlands Lotto Kiosk in Christchurch, The Lucky Lottery Shop in Rotorua, Ohakune Takenote in Ohakune and Take Note Foxton in Foxton.

"It's been a big weekend of sport around the country, but these lucky winners will be celebrating just one result - their winning Lotto numbers!" says Mr McLeay.

Powerball First Division was not struck tonight, so the jackpot for next weekend will be worth an estimated $6 million.

Strike Four was not struck tonight and will jackpot to $500,000 for next week's draw.

Tonight's other winner was Wellingtonian Deirdre Miller, who won a $100,000 shopping spree prize on Lotto's Winning Wheel.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.

Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Bethlehem Four Square & Lotto in Tauranga. The serial number is 657-20764714-20XX.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet," Mr McLeay says.
