Save Our Arts Centre announced this morning that it is continuing its proceeding against the Arts Centre Trust Board in the High Court. Lawyer for SOAC, Jeremy Johnson of Wynn Williams & Co, said that a pre-trial conference was due to be held on Monday 8 February and it was hoped that a date for the High Court hearing might be set then. Mr Johnson also said that the action against the Christchurch City Council had been discontinued to enable SOAC to focus on the central issues revolving round the trust deed.
