The search for two missing skiers in the back country at Ohau Snow Fields resumed this morning at 07.30hrs.

Search and Rescue volunteers from North Otago, Twizel, Mt Cook and Wanaka are assisting in the search which includes specialist alpine searchers deployed in the snow areas.

The two persons (a male and female) were first reported missing yesterday at about 4.30pm when they did not return from skiing.
