State Insurance Staff Help Keep Motorists Safe At Easter

Drivers and their families travelling on main routes throughout New Zealand this Easter Weekend will benefit from State insurance's Driver Reviver rest stops.

State staff will be at eight State Driver Reviver rest stops across New Zealand where travellers can fend off driver fatigue by taking a break to enjoy free refreshments, barista coffee, tasty sausages and activities for the kids.

"Driver fatigue is one of the major causes of road accidents. Our rest stops offer motorists the opportunity to stretch their legs, have some free refreshments and let the kids have time out of the car," says State's Executive General Manager Mary-Jane Daly.

"Our staff also enjoy the opportunity to get involved and be able to give back to their local communities."

State's community prevention programme is a practical way we can demonstrate our commitment to New Zealanders and their families.
