Wellington, Feb 4 NZPA - A 15-year-old Northland girl charged with murdering her 30-year-old sister on New Year's Eve will re-appear in court next month.
Her case was called in the Youth Court at Whangarei today.
Youth Court Judge Tim Druce remanded the girl into continued custody of Child, Youth and Family

He also ordered a report on the girl's fitness to plead to the charge.
The girl initially was charged with assaulting her sister who died after being stabbed at a house in Ruakaka at about 9.30pm on New Year's Eve. The charge was subsequently upgraded to murder.
