Two Year Old Girl Found By Police

Police are trying to locate the family or caregiver of a lost two year old girl. Police found the young child walking down Line Road in Glenn Innes this morning.

Investigation head, Detective Steve Meade, says the little girl was found by police wearing her pajamas, a pair of blue bottoms and a white singlet. She has long brown hair and is described as maori.

"We would like to reunite the young one with her family as soon as possible," he said.

The Police would like to talk to anyone who has information about the lost little girl. Please contact Glenn Innes Police Station on 09) 524 1910.
