Watermelon Spill Blocks Auckland Motorway

Wellington, March 21 NZPA - Two tons of watermelons blocked Auckland's southern motorway after a truck rolled south of the Newmarket viaduct this morning.

The crash, just before 6am, created a mess across all three lanes which contractors took two hours to clear, using diggers, sweepers and hoses.
