Wellington, Dec 19 NZPA -Two more youths have admitted stealing items from a woman who has now been charged with making a false rape complaint arising from an incident at Corsair Bay last month.

All four youths have now either pleaded guilty or been remanded for the diversion scheme for first offenders, after a series of appearances in the Christchurch District Court, Christchurch Court News website reported.

They were all investigated as part of the inquiry that followed the 33-year-old woman's gang rape allegations.

She appeared in court yesterday, was granted name suppression, and remanded on bail to January 12 on the charge of making the false complaint.

The two teenagers who appeared before Judge Raoul Neave in court today acknowledged responsibility for stealing household items worth a total of $870 from the woman.

Judge Neave was told that one of the youths had now got back or replaced all the items that had been stolen.
