The issue of how to promote and institutionalise the forensic documentation of alleged cases of torture will be the subject for a panel of renowned experts gathering in Geneva tomorrow (March 9), chaired by the UN Special Rapporteur on torture, Professor Manfred Nowak.

The medical profession and governments have been urged to pay more attention to the issue of stress and burn out among physicians, according to the President of the World Medical Association.

At its annual General Assembly in New Delhi, India (October 14-17), the World Medical Association discussed a number of issues, including the following:
