Wellington, Jan 19 NZPA - The Judicial Conduct Commission has begun an investigation into a Supreme Court judge who ruled in favour of a close friend's client.

Wellington, Nov 27 NZPA - The highest court in the land has recalled a judgment -- a rare event -- after one of its judges disclosed that he effectively owed nearly a quarter of a million dollars to a QC who appeared before him in the Appeal Court.
