Expressions of Interest to the Bay of Plenty Regional Council’s Regional Infrastructure Fund close this week.
The Fund, which has been set up to support sustainable regional economic development, has been receiving Expressions of Interest since 20 August to gauge the level of interest in accessing funding support from Council.
More than $38 million is available to support external infrastructure projects over the nine years to June 2022. Council is looking for large projects that will provide sustainable economic benefits to the Bay of Plenty.
Following the Expressions of Interest process closing on Friday 21 September, Council will meet to discuss these expressions of interest. The key next step is that the formal funding applications are due by 31 January 2013.
