TV3 and RadioLive announce Northland by-election coverage

Patrick Gower, Duncan Garner and Lisa Owen will lead 3News’ comprehensive coverage of the 2015 Northland By-Election on TV3, RadioLIVE and online.

Screening Saturday, 28th March at 9:30pm on 3, a 3News Special ‘Northland Decides’ will provide analysis of the 2015 Northland by-election, bringing the latest results LIVE from the polling booth as votes are counted. The programme will be hosted by 3News Political Editor Patrick Gower, and feature RadioLIVE Drive host Duncan Garner and The Nation host Lisa Owen providing in-studio analysis - gauging reaction and tracking developments in the electorate as the new local Member of Parliament is decided.

A dedicated 3News team will be reporting LIVE from key political candidates’ venues in Northland; Simon Shepherd with National Party candidate Mark Osborne, Amanda Gillies with Labour Party candidate Willow-Jean Prime, and Tova O’Brien with New Zealand First Party candidate Winston Peters.

The programme will be simulcast on RadioLIVE during Graeme Hill’s Weekend Variety Wireless Show, with RadioLIVE Senior Political Editor Jessica Williams in Northland and the RadioLIVE news team providing full coverage throughout the evening.

The following morning, Sunday Morning with Mark Sainsbury on RadioLIVE will feature coverage of the By-Election results and repercussions.
