The first time I saw ‘Darkman’ was way back in the mid 90’s and I always remember loving it! So when I had a chance to pick up a Blu-Ray copy for review I was pretty keen to see if it had stood the test of time. Well, it kind of has, and hasn’t.
When I saw the trailer for ‘We Bought A Zoo’ I thought this was a shoe in for a great film, with its cast, director, and interesting and possibly heart warming true story, it all looked to be a great combination.
Now I keep myself pretty abreast of the current world film news and gossip and I also check out most trailers that come out for films, which is almost expected behaviour from both a film lover and critic such as me.
When being asked to review TV shows, I often factor in their length as one of my considerations as to whether I’m going to watch them or not. I really shouldn’t mark that down as one of my criteria of picking them, but when you have lots to review in a week, time becomes a factor.
I’ve said it before, and I don’t mind sounding like a broken record, but I go into media screenings trying to know as little as possible about what I’m about to see.
Over the years I’ve seen a lot of pirate films, with the four major motion picture films, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, dominating box office results over the past 8-10 years.
