This year’s New Zealand International Film Festival was filled with many great films I just wasn’t able to get around to seeing. Even though I hit nearly 30 films, when there are over 150 at the festival, you just know I missed some gems.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I like the ‘Twilight’ series. Ok, that’s actually a lie, as I am a little ashamed of this, but hey, I love film and I tend to watch anything!
There have been a decent amount of end time’s movies over the years, and even TV has joined in with miniseries, TV movies and even full TV series based on the end of everything.
Normally when I write my reviews, I follow a pretty standard formula. I set up the review, throw up a synopsis I grab from the net, and then follow up with my actual thoughts and feelings on the film.
I’ve been loving being able to review a lot of History and Discovery channel DVD’s as of late, and they have been a good mixture of true life, science and history shows.
I was lucky enough to see this film at a media screening earlier in the year, which makes my job even better when I get the chance to also grab the films later on, on DVD or Blu-ray, and have another watch to see if I still feel the same about them.
