The Men's 200m Freestyle was the highlight of the finals tonight on day two of the 2019 Aon Open Championships. Lewis Clareburt (Capital) took the title in the Men's 200m Freestyle with a time of 1:48.11 seconds.

Hastings crash victim named

Police can now release the name of the person who died following a crash on Taihape Road, Pukehamoamoa, on Friday 14 June.

He was 19-year-old Shaun Grant, of Tamatea, Napier.

Police extend their sympathies to Mr Grant’s family and friends.

Police were alerted around 3.10pm.
