Houses Evacuated In Oamaru

Wellington, May 28 NZPA - Three houses were evacuated in flood-hit Oamaru tonight after being hit by debris from a large slip.

"There was damage to some of the houses, but the extent of it is still to be evaluated," Waitaki Civil Defence spokeswoman Rowan Carroll said tonight.
