NZTA Aims To Reopen Manawatu Gorge By Weekend

4 November 2008 - The NZ Transport Agency says it aims to reopen the Manawatu Gorge on State Highway 3 before the start of the weekend, after a large slip closed the highway earlier today.

The Saddle Road and Pahiatua Track are both available as alternative routes.
