Wellington, July 22 NZPA - A man who raped a sleeping woman and then later fled to Australia on a false passport will be sentenced in September.

Phillip Lenard Armstrong, 48, of Mount Maunganui, raped the woman in March last year, Tauranga District Court was told yesterday.
