"Two men, aged 19 and 35, have been apprehended by police after a reported robbery at a Greerton Liquor store in Cameron Road, Tauranga, at around 2.30pm this afternoon.

Police in the Auckland City District have expressed their frustration and disappointment after a weekend controlled-purchased operation targeting under-age drinking saw four of six premises fail.
Police are happy to report that the latest controlled purchase operation in Palmerston North and Feilding areas were a success with only one outlet selling to a minor.
Police were called to a burglary at the Greenhithe Liquor Centre in Greenhithe Road, Greenhithe just after midnight. About half an hour later a Henderson police unit saw a stolen car city bound on the Western Motorway.
The car had been reported stolen at half past midnight.
At approximately 6.45pm on Sunday 24 April 2016 a man carrying a light brown coloured back pack entered the Warrington Liquor Centre on Warrington Street, Christchurch.
The man went behind the counter and produced a medium sized kitchen knife from the backpack.
An investigation, carried out last month by council’s licensing inspectors and accompanied by the Police, has resulted in an application to have Southmall Liquor Bargain’s license cancelled.
