Rd 10 SAS Fox Memorial Premiership Qualifiers

Manurewa 20 Bay Roskill 18

Manurewa picked up their first win of the season, holding on to beat Bay Roskill at Mountfort Park. Manurewa led 20-12 with five to play, before Bay Roskill scored to set up a thrilling finish. Erin Clark was a standout for the Marlins at hooker.

Northcote 24 Otahuhu 20

Three second-half tries from winger James Waterson saw Northcote complete a spectacular comeback to beat Otahuhu. Down 20-6 at the break, it was all the Tigers in the second spell, and after they fought back to tie the game up at 20-20, Waterson battled over for his third with five to play and sealed the game.

Richmond 20 Mt Albert 44

Eiden Ackland, Trent Wallace and Fonitika Lelenga all scored doubles as Mt Albert came away with a big win over Richmond in the central Auckland derby. Richmond struck first, but the Lions soon found their way into the contest and were too strong in the middle of the park.

Papakura 14 Howick 18

Howick survived a late scare to remain top of the ladder, overcoming Papakura at Prince Edward Park. Down 18-8 with five to go, Papakura scored a converted try with five to go but couldn't find a later winner.

Glenora 12 Mangere East 29

Mangere East have secured safety in the first division with an upset victory over top four side Glenora. The Hawks led 19-4 at the half and went on with the job, with fullback James Dowie and back-rower Sam Ikahihifo playing starring roles.

Pt Chevalier 32 Marist 10

Pt Chevalier continue their mid-season resurgence, disposing of Marist at Walker Park. The win leaves the Pirates tied on points with fourth-placed Glenora.

Rd 12 Crown Lift Trucks Fox Championship Qualifiers

Pakuranga 14 Pukekohe 16

The accurate boot of Reuben Tolovae was the difference in the end for Pukekohe, as they edged past Pakuranga to remain in the hunt for promotion to the Crown Lift Trucks Fox Championship. Second-rower Donny Tuivai-Lopa scored two tries in the win.

Otara 34 Waitemata 12

Otara outlasted Waitemata at Ngati Otara Park to pick up their first win in six games. The Scorpions led 18-0 at the break, with their staunch defence and superior completion rate the difference.

Mt Wellington 42 Hibiscus Coast 12

Hibiscus Coast have suffered a significant blow to their top-four hopes, after going down in a heavy defeat to Mt Wellington. Wing Lomani Uilou scored three tries for the Warriors in the victory.

Northern Brothers 6 Te Atatu 44

Top-of-the-table Te Atatu won big over Northern Brothers to guarantee their place in the Crown Lift Trucks Fix Championship proper. Try-scoring ace Anthony Goulton grabbed a double, while Donovan Briggs was a powerhouse in the front row.

Ponsonby 34 Papatoetoe 16

Centre Heitony Talagi scored 22 of Ponsonby's points as they picked up their first win of 2019, via three tries and five conversions. The Ponies' only previous points this year came from a draw.

New Lynn 14 Ellerslie 42

Patrick Tausie scored a hat trick for Ellerslie in their big win over New Lynn. It was a scrappy contest at Lawson Park, but the Eagles were the superior team over the 80 minutes.
