The Canterbury team has landed in the Capital ahead of their round three match of the Mitre 10 Cup tomorrow night, and Head Coach Joe Maddock has named his side to take on the Wellington Lions. It includes the return of new All Black Braydon Ennor, and two potential debutants in the reserves.

There is only one change in the forwards for this game, with Reed Prinsep moving to the bench and Mitch Dunshea returning to the starting side, having recovered from the knee injury he sustained during the pre-season game in Hanmer.

Halfback Mitch Drummond, who was withdrawn from the Tasman match with a tight calf, will sit out this week as well. Ereatara Enari retains the starting spot at nine.

Braydon Ennor, having made his debut for the All Blacks in Argentina last month, returned to Rugby Park this week and will play on the left wing, while Inga Finau will also line up in red and black for his first start of the 2019 season, at second five-eighth.

Two players, Conor McManus and Dallas McLeod, are set to make their Mitre 10 Cup debuts for Canterbury this week, named in the 21 and 23 jerseys respectively.

Kick off in Canterbury's match against Wellington is 7:35pm, Friday 23 August, at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
