1 July 2008 - Jetpro's New Zealand Jetsprint Championship is one of the quiet achievers for New Zealand, with export sales to two major international TV organisations providing TV coverage of the New Zealand Jetsprint Championships to over 160 million homes worldwide. With an accepted average of 2.5 people per household, that's over 400 million people who have our coverage arrive in their home.

Jetpro, who manage and market the NZ Jetsprint Championship have forged partnerships with the worldwide syndicated show 'Watersports World' who beam their popular watersport show into over 146 million homes worldwide, and with Motors TV who operate a 24/7 Motorsport TV channel which is subscribed to by 14.6 million viewers worldwide. Both organisations have taken Jetpro's TV coverage since 2006 and have committed to broadcast our 2008 and 2009 coverage also. With the World Jetsprint Championships to be held in New Zealand in January next year, Watersports World and Motors TV both plan to add the World Jetsprint Championship to the coverage they provide.

"Jetsprinting is quite unique in international TV terms, providing exciting fast paced action which shows well the speed and skill involved in our sport" commented Ross Teesdale, general manager of Jetpro Ltd. " Our little alloy boats with big V8 engines darting around in narrow channels capture the attention of TV viewers worldwide. We are very pleased to be making export earnings for New Zealand, while at the same time displaying our sport to a potential audience of over 400 million people" Mr Teesdale added.

Jetpro packages 12 half hour programs for Watersports World and Motors TV from each New Zealand Championship series and will add another 4 half hour shows covering the 2009 World Jetsprint Championship, providing 16 separate opportunities for our worldwide audience to view Kiwi and World Championship Jetsprinting in 2009. In New Zealand, TV partners TV3 and SKY Sport broadcast Jetpro's coverage, with SKY Sport taking an extended package which is played several times over a continuous 8 month period.

Jetpro Jetsprinting is another Kiwi success story which showcases our adrenaline packed nation to the world. Kiwi companies who wish to leverage Jetpro's massive worldwide and New Zealand audience should contact Jetpro via www.jetpro.co.nz to learn more about the huge audience Jetpro can offer, for a surprisingly very modest investment.
