The Northern Knights have named their side for their first home match in the Plunket Shield. The Knights play the Central Stags in Whangarei, starting on Tuesday.

The side has two changes from that which won outright against the Otago Volts last week. Brent Arnel and Daniel Flynn join fellow Northern Knights and BLACKCAPS, Tim Southee and BJ Watling, in the New Zealand A team to play Pakistan in Queenstown later in the week.

They are replaced by spin bowling all-rounder, Jono Boult (brother of Trent) and former New Zealand Under 19 pace bowler, Anurag Verma. If selected for the playing side it will be Verma's first class debut.

Daniel Vettori is unavailable as he recovers from a head injury.
