The Northern Knights side has been named for round six of the domestic one day competition, against the Wellington Firebirds at the Basin Reserve, Wellington.

The side has three changes from the thirteen that were named for the final round of the HRV Cup with Bruce Martin and Michael Parlane returning to the side to replace Daniel Vettori and Tim Southee on BLACKCAP duty. Thilkaratne Dilshan has returned to Sri Lanka.

Hamish Marshall has arrived in the country and will play some cricket this week, after being away from the game for much of the northern hemisphere winter, before the selectors look to bring him into the Knights.

The same twelve will travel to Whangarei for round seven on Saturday, 6th February.
