Marina Erakovic match at Wimbledon delayed by rain

Kiwi tennis player Marina Erakovic has had her third round doubles match at Wimbledon delayed due to overnight rain.

Erakovic and Thai partner, Tamarine Tanasugarn were playing fifth seeded Russians Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina and had a 3-2 lead in the first set when rain suspended play last night.

The match is now scheduled to be first on court 15 from 11.30am (10.30pm NZ time), weather permitting this evening.

Fellow Kiwi Emily Fanning and Ukrainian, Oleksandra Korashvili first round Wimbledon Junior doubles is yet to be played, they will likely feature on Wednesday schedule. They pair take on Aliaksandra Sasnovich (Belarus) and Donna Vekic (Croatia) in the first round.
