More Misery For Campbell And Brown

Wellington, May 30 NZPA - New Zealand golfers Michael Campbell and Mark Brown have crashed out of European Tour tournaments for a third week in a row, this time missing the cut at the European Open in Kent, England today.

Campbell, who carded rounds of 80 and 75 at the London Club, was among four Major champions to miss the cut along with fellow US Open winners Reteif Goosen, Angel Cabrera, the reigning US Masters titleholder and John Daly.

Brown dropped five shots over his closing three holes in a score of 79 for a 12-over par tally, one more than Campbell.

India's Jeev Milka Singh and Frenchman Michael Lorenzo-Vera, hit matching 69s to set the pace on eight-under-par 136, one ahead of Anthony Wall of Britain, 69, and France's Christian Cevaer, 70.
