NZ 70-3 At Stumps, 335 Of Victory In Second Test V Pakistan

Wellington, Dec 5 NZPA - New Zealand were 70 for three at stumps on the third day of the second cricket test against Pakistan at the Basin Reserve here today, 335 runs short of victory and an unassailable 2-0 series lead.

Set 405 for victory after dismissing Pakistan for 239 in their second innings, New Zealand lost Tim McIntosh for two runs, Martin Guptill, 15, and Daniel Flynn 20.

Ross Taylor is not out 15 and Peter Fulton is on 12.

Pace bowler Mohammad Asif is the successful bowler with three for 19 from 11 overs.
