Dunedin, Nov 26 NZPA - New Zealand have been dismissed for 429 early on the third day of the first cricket test against Pakistan at University Oval here today.
Resuming on 404 for eight, New Zealand lost Shane Bond for 22 and Chris Martin for a duck 30 minutes into the day's play. Iain O'Brien was not out on 13.
Captain Daniel Vettori topscored yesterday with 99 while Ross Taylor, with 94, Brendon McCullum, 78, and Martin Guptill, 60, were the other major contributors.
Fast bowler Mohammad Asif, playing his first test in more than two years, led the Pakistani attack with figures of four for 108 from 34 overs.
