Dunedin, Nov 25 NZPA - Rain has delayed the second day of the first cricket test between New Zealand and Pakistan at University Oval here today.
Players retreated to the pavilion early in the middle session with New Zealand on 381 for seven. Captain Daniel Vettori was on 87 and Shane Bond was not out three.
Gloomy overhead conditions may also impact on the remainder of the day.
