TENNIS It is a sight to behold and SKY Sport has you covered! For two weeks some of the most spectacular athletic talent on earth is on show at one of the world's great sporting arenas, Melbourne Park. Once again Federer and Nadal go head-to-head in the battle for the number one spot and Grand Slam crowns.

The 2009 Australian Open final lasted the best part of four and a half hours before Federer succumbed to allow Nadal his first Australian Open title.

The Women's draw will see the return (from retirement) of former number one and 2004 Australian Open Champion Justine Henin, who has been granted a wildcard entry for the 2010 tournament. Her inspiration came from watching Kim Clijsters making her return, and winning the US Open in 2009. A possible match up between Justine and Kim in Melbourne will be sure to turn a few heads. The AAMI Classic, from Kooyong Stadium in Melbourne, is the last chance for the world's finest to fine tune their game before the Australian Open. This year attending will be, Novak Djokovic (3), Juan Martin del Potro (5), Fernando Verdasco (8), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (9), Robin Soderling (10), Fernando Gonzalez (11), Tommy Hass (17) and the eighth spot has been reserved for Roger Federer who was the 2009 Champion but has not yet confirmed.

GOLF The 92nd Michael Hill New Zealand Open returns this January from the stunning 'Hills' golf course in Arrowtown with coverage starting on the 30th January on SKY Sport. The Open Championship will again be a co-sanctioned event between the Australasian and Nationwide Tours, offering $US600,000 in prize money. CRICKET Join SKY Sport for action from New Zealand's domestic Twenty20 competition - the HRV Cup. The tournaments profile has already increased with the addition of international players like Tillakaratne DIlshan, Owais Shah, Ravi Bopara and DImitri Mascarenhas and all the BLACKCAPS will be available. The winners of the cup have the added incentive of a place in the lucrative Champions League.

The ICC U19 Cricket World Cup is the leading development tournament for international cricket's stars of the future and takes place every two years. The previous winners of the event so far have been Australia (1988 and 2002), England (1998), India (2000 and 2008) and Pakistan (2004 and 2006). The next event will take place here in New Zealand throughout January with coverage on SKY Sport.
