Wellington, Nov 13 NZPA - New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori has regained the No 1 spot in the one-day international (ODI) bowling rankings, displacing teammate Kyle Mills.
Vettori, who last topped the list in March, regained the No 1 spot after leading New Zealand to a 2-1 series win against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi this week.
Mills has dropped to No 5 after rising to the top following his performances in October's Champions Trophy in South Africa.
Fast bowler Shane Bond is the third Black Cap in the top 10 ODI bowlers at No 7.
Among all rounders, Vettori is at No 2 for tests and No 9 for ODIs, where Jacob Oram is the other New Zealander in the list at No 5.
Brendon McCullum made the top 20 ODI batsmen for the first time, climbing 16 places to claim No 16 after match winning performances against Pakistan, scoring 131 and 76 in the second and third matches respectively.
