NZ Premiere: ATLAS 4D, DISCOVERY CHANNEL - Sundays from 8 August, 7.30pm

Atlas 4D reinvents the Atlas concept, tying together fascinating stories about certain regions into one grand narrative, describing the epic saga of a place passing through time.

NZ short film Poppy has been awarded the Computer Animation Festival's Jury Prize ahead of the SIGGRAPH 2010 International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques, which is being held in Los Angeles on the 25th - 29th July.

With the creative well for new movies apparently drying up in Hollywood, it seems many of the production companies have turned to adaptations of already popular licenses. One of the new crazes in this area seems to be adapting animated series, in particular Japanese manga and anime.
