Forsyth Barr Stadium Technology In Hands Of Public

Forsyth Barr Stadium is gauging the level of public interest in the latest Stadium technology through a nationwide survey.

The results from the survey, which measures the public appetite to use Stadium technology, will be used to enhance the customer experience before, during and after the event. Decisions such as how people prefer to purchase and receive tickets, whether they would opt in to text message updates, and their preference for paying for food, beverage and merchandise are all explored in the survey.

Darren Burden, Operations Director, Dunedin Venues commented, "Going to an event or a game at the Stadium is an experience and, in this day and age of a digitally connected world, technology has a key role in making that experience even better.

"The Stadium experience starts even before a ticket has been brought. Technology can help people find out about events, buy tickets, get to the event, meet friends, interact with the event, share photos, buy food, and then find out what is happening after the event.

"The survey allows us to ensure we have the right technology in place to build a premier venue and to enhance the customer experience."
