TomTom's Be The Voice Of New Zealand Final Five

TomTom New Zealand announced today the five finalists in the Be The Voice of New Zealand competition.

The five finalists are: Ben Harper of Auckland, Te Wehi Preston of Rotorua, Amber Russell of Wanaka, Jeremy Duggan of Christchurch and Flower Bradley of Nelson.

The final five were chosen based on a combination of quality, adherence to the entry instructions and voted popularity and Nick Saisanas, Marketing Communications Manager for TomTom New Zealand, said each of the finalists has the potential and the quality to be the new voice of New Zealand for TomTom GPS.

"As the close of the competition draws near TomTom is very excited to find out who the overall winner and new voice of New Zealand will be. All entrants in the competition exhibited great talent, and many of them were humorous and original. Many factors were taken into consideration when selecting the final five and the judging panel know they have selected the best quality and shining Kiwi entrants, as well as entrants that were some of the public's favourites," said Saisanas. TomTom is well known for its comical and celebrity voices available for download on all of its GPS units. One of these five finalists will be the new Kiwi voice for TomTom GPS, joining the ranks of Snoop Dogg, Homer Simpson, John Cleese and Mr T. Go online to www.bethevoice.co.nz to vote for your favourite of the five finalists. The winner of the Be the Voice of New Zealand campaign will not only have their dulcet tones as the new Kiwi voice on TomTom GPS units, but will also win a brand new Suzuki Swift RS equipped with a TomTom GPS.

The TomTom Be the Voice Competition winner will be decided by a combination of quality, adherence to the entry instructions and voting popularity. All entrants have agreed to the terms and conditions of the competition which clearly state that the final five entrants (and the eventual winner) will be decided by a combination of factors. Votes alone do not determine the winner.
