Opening to the fourth biggest opening of the year, James Cameron’s Avatar smashed into the New Zealand box office, pulverizing the opposition, collecting than TEN TIMES more than the second placed movie and grossing more than every other picture combined for the weekend.
In what was generally a down weekend at the Kiwi box office, Twilight New Moon managed to hold off all comers in its fourth week to stay king of the charts.
Okay, so this comes out at the movies on the 10th of December, one week before the massive juggernaut that is Avatar, but i'm more excited about this one?
