Russell Peters is a Canadian/Indian comedian who has made his name with a brand of stand up that focuses on racial stereotypes and doing spot on accents of different people of the world, with a strong focus on Asian and Indians.

  • Movie Review - Law Abiding Citizen

‘Law Abiding Citizen’ is one of those few films that I decided to see entirely because of its film trailer. I’ve said before that I often know a lot about a film long before it comes out due to my avid surfing the net and reading all the film gossip.

  • Your-Big-Break - Tim McLachlan

“Your-Big-Break” is something everyone looks for in life and especially if you’re in the world of the arts. So when a film competition was announced called “Your-Big-Break” it didn’t take long for people all over the world to enter it.

‘Alice In Wonderland’ is one of those iconic stories that most kids growing up in the western world knows and I’d say would love.

  • Movie Review - 9

With the glut of animated CG films that are around these days it’s hard to stand out from the crowd...unless you’re a Pixar film that is. So when I saw the trailer for ‘9’ it really stuck in my mind as it seemed unlike any other CG film I had seen before.

  • DVD Review - Bruno

Sacha Baron Cohen is the man who brought us Ali G and Borat, characters who filled us with laughter and gave us many cringe worthy moments.

  • Movie Review - The Hurt Locker

At this year’s Academy Awards ‘Hurt Locker’ is the film to beat as it has been the front runner at many different award shows so far and is looking to have built up the steam needed to walk away with the top prizes.

  • Movie Review - The Wolfman

If there’s one genre I’m almost always a fan of it is werewolf films but I’m never a fan of when they are ‘dumbed down’ and vampires are given the higher billing.

  • Movie Review - Shutter Island

A Martin Scorsese film always comes with a sense of anticipation as he’s one of the few big directors who can really create art with their films.
