Emma Memma visits the library – Napier City Council

An all-singing, all-dancing superstar is heading to the library for storytime this Friday

‘Emma Memma’ – performer Emma Watkins, formally of The Wiggles – will be at Taradale Library for a short story-time, and a meet-and-greet session at 3.30pm on Friday 3 November.

Nicola Saunders, Library Manager for Napier City Council, says hosting Emma Memma is a great example of how versatile libraries can be.

“Our library is a community space where everyone is welcome and it’s fun to turn it into a performance space and have something a bit different for our visitors to enjoy,” says Nicola. “Emma has a great manner and kids love her. She brings a joy of singing and dancing and has a real passion for sign language and encouraging kids to have a go.”

Emma Memma Storytime is a free event and open to all. No registration is required and seating will be on a first-come-first-served basis. The Emma Memma show Twirly Tour is at the Napier Municipal Theatre on Sunday 10 Nov at 10am.
